I've been the customer who had to live with the system, the in-house engineer who built it, the vendor selling it, and the consultant brought in to fix it. Fifteen years architecting, integrating, and modernizing the platforms large businesses run on, mostly in Fintech and Healthcare. I've sold the vision and I've inherited it. What I enjoy is owning it end to end, from the pitch to the pager.
